Bach flower remedies are a safe and natural method of supporting emotional wellbeing. Each remedy matches an emotional picture - for example, the remedy Larch is recommended for those feeling a lack of confidence.
The system of plant and flower-based essences was developed in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach.
Dr Bach - a physician and homeopath - recognised the influence of the mind and spirit on physical health. He believed that the remedies worked by helping to bring a person back to a state of mental and emotional equilibrium in order to soothe the soul.
Dr Bach believed that supporting emotional wellbeing can have a knock-on effect on other levels and allow a person to support physical wellbeing as a result of better mental health.
At a consultation, I ask you to explain your current situation
and how you feel about it. Appropriate remedies are
selected for you which are combined in one mix which is
taken regularly for a few weeks.
At this point, you might feel a lot better, or might
feel you need further sessions and remedy mixes to
continue to support your wellness.
A key part of the consultation is to teach you about the remedies so you can begin to make remedy mixes for yourself. In this way practitioners like me can make a life-long difference which is incredibly rewarding.
